Aluminium

For manufacturers of building materials, transport equipment, consumer goods, packaging, electrical equipment, and more, aluminium is indispensable. With its low density, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity, aluminium is the material of choice for products such as profiles, bars, sheets, fittings, signage, and drop seals. EKI cellular rubber is mainly used in these situations as a buffer against shocks and vibrations.

For example, EKI 420 EPDM cellular rubber and EKI 424 EPDM cellular rubber are regularly used as intermediate layers in aluminium façade constructions. In aluminium guides for screens (external sun shading), EKI 400 EPDM cellular rubber is an example of a product that effectively absorbs vibrations. Other frequently used rubber grades include EKI 490 EPDM cellular rubber, EKI 491 EPDM cellular rubber, and EKI 230 neoprene sponge rubber.

Stainless steel (SS)

Stainless steel is a widely used material thanks to its corrosion resistance, durability, and resistance to high pressure and temperatures. Stainless steel is therefore frequently used for the manufacture of kitchen equipment, medical equipment, chemical installations, and building materials. Handrails, kitchens, stairs, balustrades, and sanitary applications are often made from this material.
